Medicine of all kinds and of operations, were part of Lapithi’s everyday life during her childhood. This is the reason she approaches the body in an extraordinary way. She proceeds to “artistic” operations often using her own body. The mutilated blue legs-pieces of work rich with meaning, act as autonomous and are sufficiently revealing. They represent the bones and penetrate to the marrow; they go deep into the bone, entering the emotional expanse of the human existence.
